About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Nurse Leader to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our senior nursing team, you will work in partnership with the Ward Manager, Matron, and Head of Nursing to provide leadership and support to the nursing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing team to promote trust values and improve quality, patient experience, and patient safety.
  • Contribute to the development of quality methodology and Clinical Governance initiatives.
  • Work closely with medical teams and liaise with other departments to ensure effective care coordination.
  • Act as a professional role model and mentor for junior colleagues, and be involved in appraisals, absence management, and rostering.
  • Attend ward meetings and ensure information is shared with the wider team.
  • Develop practice through audit and IQP, and complete regular audits as required by the trust.
