About the Role

Bright Sparks Science is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Science Camp Activity Instructor to join our team. As a Science Camp Activity Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive science activities to children aged 5-11 years old during our holiday camps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a range of science activities and experiments to children, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
  • Work closely with the Camp Manager and other instructors to plan and deliver a high-quality science program.
  • Provide excellent customer service to parents and children, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient camp operation.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience working with children, preferably in a science-related setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, with a flexible and positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of science concepts and principles, with the ability to deliver engaging and interactive activities.
  • First Aid certification and a willingness to undergo safeguarding training.
