About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Science Camp Activity Leader to join our team at Bright Sparks Science. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive science activities to children during our holiday camps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a range of science activities to children aged 5-11 years, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
  • Work closely with the Camp Manager to plan and prepare activities, ensuring they meet the needs of children with special educational needs (SEN) and other individual requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service to parents and guardians, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and respectful environment, adhering to our policies and procedures at all times.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient camp experience, sharing resources and expertise as needed.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience working with children, preferably in a science or education setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a group of children and work effectively with colleagues.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, with a flexible and proactive approach to work.
  • Commitment to safeguarding children and adhering to our policies and procedures.
  • Good understanding of science and its applications, with a passion for sharing knowledge with children.
