About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to lead our student services team at Scotland's Rural College (SRUC). As Head of Education and Welfare, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our student services department, ensuring that we deliver high-quality support to our students.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading change in complex organisations, with experience of managing budgets and resources. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the student services department
  • Develop and implement effective policies and procedures to support student learning and development
  • Lead the student services team to ensure seamless delivery of support services to students
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of student services, using data to inform decision-making and drive improvement
