About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Receptionist to join our team at All Saints Medical Centre. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals
  • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and efficient manner
  • Manage patient appointments, bookings, and scheduling
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and files
  • Coordinate and arrange support services, including interpreting services
  • Ensure the reception and waiting areas are clean and tidy
  • Act as a chaperone for doctors and clinicians as requested
  • Arrange for ambulance services as needed
  • Notify the team leader or Practice Manager of any equipment or IT failures
  • Attend meetings and provide guidance and training to new staff members
  • Ensure patient and staff confidentiality at all times
  • Provide holiday and sickness cover for reception and administration duties
