About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at Belgrave Medical Centre. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing telephone calls, ensuring that callers are answered courteously, promptly, and clearly.
- Process online consultation forms onto the SystmOne computer system for triage by clinicians.
- Receive and direct patients and visitors to the practice promptly and courteously.
- Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors.
- Work closely with other reception staff to ensure the smooth running of reception and efficient delivery of services to patients.
- Book appointments and contact patients as required.
- Complete patient-related tasks in a timely manner.
- Register new patients and process information such as change of address.
- Process repeat prescription requests.
- Be responsible for the opening and closing of the practice.
- Refer patients via tasks from GPs.
