Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at Bridge House Medical Practice. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience for all visitors to the practice.
Main Responsibilities
As a Medical Receptionist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors
- Managing patient appointments and bookings
- Handling patient queries and concerns
- Processing patient registrations and updating patient records
- Managing the practice's waiting list and patient flow
- Providing administrative support to the practice team
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Ensuring confidentiality and data protection at all times
Requirements
To be successful as a Medical Receptionist, you will need:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Basic IT skills and experience with practice management software
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting or customer-facing role
