This exciting opportunity offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of adults with assessed social care needs, promoting their independence and well-being in the community.
About the Role:
- Coordinate the assessment, ongoing monitoring, and development of Carers to ensure they provide high-quality support to adults in their care.
- Work closely with Referrals officers to co-ordinate new placements, ensuring a robust matching process between potential Carers and adults being placed in their homes.
- Supervise a number of Shared Lives Assistant Officers and Shared Lives Workers, providing guidance and support to help them deliver exceptional care services.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification in a related field (e.g. Nursing, Occupational Therapy).
- Experience of working within a multi-agency environment, with a strong understanding of adult safeguarding principles.
- Good computer literacy and report writing skills, with the ability to work effectively in partnership with individuals and organisations to identify resources that can support well-being.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including mediation and negotiation abilities, to build strong relationships with Carers, adults, and other stakeholders.
- Registration with the Health Care Professionals Council is essential.

- A competitive salary of £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
