About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Analyst to join our innovative team at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust. As a key member of our High Impact Elective Care Program, you will play a crucial role in driving service transformation and supporting our strategic goals.

Your expertise in RTT, Diagnostics, and theatre data will help us manage and recover our elective services more effectively. You will be responsible for analysing and interpreting complex data to provide actionable insights that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and interpret complex data to provide actionable insights that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with our Academy colleagues to ensure data-driven decisions across the Trust.
  • Support the digital roadmap and data transformation initiatives to improve our business intelligence service.
  • Help to identify and quantify benchmarking opportunities and productivity assessments within theatres.
  • Lead efforts to create a data-rich environment that fosters rapid decision-making.
Requirements
  • Expertise in elective care analytics, particularly RTT, Diagnostics, and theatre data.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey insights and drive change.
  • A forward-thinking mindset to support our ambition of becoming a truly data-driven organization by 2030.
What We're Looking For

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who can lead our Business Intelligence Team and drive our data transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for managing junior staff, developing and adapting complex software, and ensuring the timely and accurate provision of statutory reporting.

You will be a highly organised individual with strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality and accurate information. You will have a progressive and proactive attitude, actively contributing to advancing the skill set and productivity of the team and wider organisation.
