Join Our Team as a Data Quality and Analytics Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality and Analytics Manager to join our team at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in revolutionizing our business intelligence service and driving data-driven decision making.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of data quality and analytics strategies to support business intelligence and performance management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance.
  • Design and deploy data visualizations and analytics solutions to support operational decision making.
  • Develop and maintain data quality improvement plans to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on data architecture, data warehousing, and data governance.
  • Lead the development of PowerBI dashboards and reports to support performance monitoring and operational decision making.
  • Ensure robust documentation and training materials to support data quality and analytics initiatives.
  • Engage with the wider analytics and data quality community to build a network of peers and share best practices.
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level in a subject relevant to the post or equivalent alternative education/experience in data architecture and data warehousing.
  • Statistical Process Control training.
  • Subject matter expert in constitutional standards and associated data rules.
  • Technical expert knowledge in NHS data including data dictionary, data rules, and data sources.
  • Knowledge of best practice in terms of data governance.
  • Qualifications or experience in the development and deployment of PowerBI.
  • Ability to instruct and coach junior staff to empower them to work without supervision.
  • Demonstrable progress towards meeting the national competency for data professionals for the skills identified associated with this role.
  • Data Quality Improvement principles.
  • Ability to influence other stakeholders to ensure the data requirements are appropriately included in system deployment.
