About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Leader to join our team at River Island. As a Store Leader, you will be responsible for driving sales and maximizing profit in your store, while also ensuring that every customer receives a world-class shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales and Profit: Identify opportunities to increase your store's contribution, implement company layout to a high standard, and analyze reports to ensure the success of your branch.
  • Connect with Customers: Lead by example and motivate your team to provide genuine service to customers, encouraging them to maximize opportunities to upsell across all areas of the store.
  • Recruit and Retain Talent: Be passionate about your team and responsible for their career development, recruiting the best talent for your store, and investing time to train and coach them.
  • Control Costs and Manage Loss Prevention: Drive productivity by effectively managing payroll, having the right people in the right place at the right time, and ensuring your store is operationally sound with effective stock management controls in place.
  • Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Have a proven track record in managing store KPIs, including sales, payroll, controllable costs, stock loss, and service.
  • Communicate Effectively: Be a great communicator across all levels, with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering a world-class experience to customers.
