Conveyancing Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Conveyancing Assistant to join our team at Julie Rose Recruitment. As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our conveyancing department with various administrative tasks.
Main Responsibilities:
- Document production and typing of correspondence
- Dealing with Land Registry applications and searches via the Land Registry portal
- Ordering documents via the Land Registry portal
- Carrying out searches on behalf of fee earners via an external portal
- Preparing and submitting SDLT returns
- Managing data rooms comprising of large amounts of data
- Producing engrossment documents (hard copy and PDF)
- Managing large PDF documents and creating electronic engrossments using PDF software
- Scanning documents
- Administering DocuSign on behalf of clients when necessary
- Assisting with completions
- Opening and closing files
- Preparing bills
- Providing general clerical support as required
Requirements:
- Experienced property/conveyancing secretary
- Ability to prioritise work and multitask
- Excellent ICT skills including Microsoft Office package
Working Arrangements:
- Part-time role (3-4 days per week)
- Flexible working hours (ideally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, dependent on experience (pro rata for part-time).
