New Business Development Manager

BFT Mastclimbing is seeking a highly motivated and experienced New Business Sales Manager to join our Sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and developing a strong business pipeline for the provision of Mastclimbers & Hoists within your allocated region.
Key Responsibilities- Lead negotiations, close sales, secure orders, and attain/surpass sales targets on a monthly basis.
- Create and execute a targeted sales strategy to build awareness and business enquiries for Mastclimbers.
- Document progress and manage a strong pipeline of bona fide opportunities for Mastclimber sales within the region.
- Establish strong relationships with key personnel at all levels within target organisations.
- Collaborate with the Technical Sales team to provide accurate information and support sales efforts.
- Develop sales and marketing materials as required to secure business contracts for Mastclimbers.
- Attend business networking events to build and grow business relationships within the industry.
- Cold-call sites and known opportunities to establish decision makers for access solutions.
- Document customer knowledge and maintain the internal CRM system.
- Complete thorough fact-finding of customers' needs to ensure effective sales efforts.
- Attend sales meetings to sell the USPs of BFT Mastclimbing and close out contracts.
- Secure Mastclimbing contracts by working with the Technical Sales team to provide best commercial proposals.
- Participate in weekly and monthly Sales team meetings to share information and ensure BFT is best placed for all known opportunities.
- Complete reports and send to the Head of Sales/Executive Sales Director as requested.
- Develop and maintain your own presence on networking platforms like LinkedIn to share company news and updates.
- Comply with company and statutory health & safety requirements.
- Represent the company professionally at all times and promote to external contacts.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Understanding of pricing and commercial structures to close out business and grow the closed order book.
- Able to accurately record information gathered from clients and potential clients.
- Good working knowledge of Mastclimbers is a bonus but not required.
- Understanding of and commitment to health and safety standards within BFT.
- Presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to travel within the designated region as required.
BFT Mastclimbing offers a competitive salary of £45,000.00-£70,000.00 OTE (depending on experience) and a remote/hybrid working arrangement. Covering South West & Wales, this is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth of our business.
