We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Assurance Adviser to join our team at St. James's Place. As a key member of our Business Assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our advice processes.
Key Responsibilities- Review and assess complex advice cases, including DB transfers and technical project work, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Collaborate with Business Risk and Field Management to identify and address issues related to file checking and technical support.
- Provide expert feedback and guidance to Partners and SJP staff to protect clients from mis-selling and mitigate financial, regulatory, and reputational risks.
- Act as a technical consultant and subject matter expert, providing training and support to Partners and new team members.
- Develop and implement process improvements to drive continuous improvement within the function and adapt to changes in regulatory requirements.
- Chartered Financial Planner status with a deep understanding of the BAA role and its fit within the business.
- Ability to undertake complex calculations and analysis related to income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and annual lifetime pensions allowances.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to articulate complex feedback and manage expectations.
- Resilience and ability to manage setbacks and challenges from the field.
- Private medical insurance with up to family cover paid for by the company.
