About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Assurance Adviser to join our team at St. James's Place. As a key member of our assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our advice cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review complex and high-value advice cases, including DB transfers and technical project work.
  • Collaborate with Business Risk and Field Management to address issues raised from file checking and technical support.
  • Provide expert feedback on case content to protect clients from mis-selling and partners from financial, regulatory, or reputational damage.
  • Act as a technical consultant for partners, including training and subject matter expertise.
  • Provide training and mentoring for new team members, working with the training team and QA.

Requirements:

  • Level 6 Chartered Financial Planner status in regulated Financial Planning.
  • Full understanding of the BAA role, end-to-end advice model, and compliance framework.
  • Ability to undertake complex calculations and suggest process improvements.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Resilience to setbacks and challenges.
