Job Title: Senior Family Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced Senior Family Support Worker to join our team at Partnerships For Progress Limited. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise and a passion for delivering exceptional family support services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality family support services to families in need, including assessment, planning, and intervention.
  • Work closely with families to identify their strengths and challenges, and develop personalized support plans to meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers, teachers, and healthcare providers, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to family support.
  • Conduct home visits, group work, and other activities to engage with families and promote positive outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of family support activities, including progress notes and outcome measures.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with families in a support or advocacy role.
  • Strong assessment and planning skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with families, colleagues, and other professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including child protection and safeguarding.
