Job Title: Senior Family Support Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Family Support Worker to join our team at Partnerships For Progress Limited. As a Senior Family Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting families with complex needs, providing guidance and leadership to our team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate shifts, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of services to families.
  • Provide guidance and support to Family Support Workers, promoting a culture of inclusivity, open communication, and collaboration.
  • Assess and monitor families' needs, developing and implementing personalized plans to support their well-being and independence.
  • Collaborate with the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) to ensure comprehensive support for families, including safeguarding and crisis intervention.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults and/or children, including those with complex needs and challenging behaviors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse situations and individuals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high standard of organizational and administrative skills.
  • IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office, and experience with electronic record-keeping systems.
