Randstad Care is excited to collaborate with a prominent local authority to seek a dedicated Child and Family Support Specialist for their CECT Team, in conjunction with the Intake and Assessment Team.

This position is a full-time opportunity (37.5 hours per week) that offers a hybrid working model, allowing for flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and evaluating outcome-focused care plans that address the specific needs identified within those plans.
  • Conducting comprehensive Care & Support assessments to determine the requirements of children and families.
  • Collaborating closely with individuals, families, and care groups to assist them in making informed decisions and participating in service planning.
  • Coordinating with various agencies and professionals to meet the needs of children and families, ensuring optimal decisions are made.
  • Identifying any unmet needs or issues that have not been addressed and notifying the service manager to guarantee that all cases receive the highest level of support.

Qualifications:

  • Recognized as a Qualified Social Worker.
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Registered with Social Care Wales.
  • Experience in a similar environment.
