About the Role

As a Presales Consultant, you will be part of our team at TSG, a leading Managed IT Services provider servicing businesses UK Wide. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical and functional support to our sales team in respect of Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Identify, understand, and define client needs, objectives, and business drivers, and design a solution that can best meet their requirements.
  2. Assist with the creation of service estimates.
  3. Develop presentation material and demonstration scenarios for sales presentations.
  4. Demonstrate the value of the solution, not just the functionality.
  5. Build strong working relationships with the TSG sales and technical teams.
  6. Support prioritized sales cycles, helping with strategy, competitive positioning, demonstrations, and presentations.
  7. Actively support the sales teams in promoting and identifying solutions, articulating functional fit and completeness, responding to bid cycles, to clients' requests for information, and information to tender.
  8. Communicate business requirements to the project/implementation team after the sale, ensuring a smooth transition from presales to implementation stages.
  9. Possess a strong sense of teamwork, integrity, self-motivation, positive attitude, and problem-solving skills.
  10. Stay up-to-date with new trends within Dynamics 365, our competitors, our partners, and the IT industry as a whole.
  11. Nationwide travel will be required as part of this role.
Requirements
  1. Industry standard accreditations for Microsoft and others in either sales or presales certifications would be beneficial but not essential.
  2. Comfortable presenting to internal sales teams and clients at any level.
  3. Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  4. Excellent organizational skills.
  5. Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills.
  6. Strong commercial awareness and a broad understanding of client business issues.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills.
  8. Ability to build rapport and good working relationships with key stakeholders.
  9. Needs-based sales methodology; solution or consultative selling.
  10. Minimum 12 months' experience working with Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  11. Awareness and appreciation of the demonstration to win approach to selling.
  12. Possess a client-centric, consultative approach to solution design.
