Health and Safety Manager - Construction - Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire

About Detail2Recruitment

We are working with a well-established company in the construction industry to find an experienced Health and Safety Manager with a strong background in building and construction or quarries, based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.

Health and Safety Manager - The Role

  • Develop, maintain and monitor the implementation of good H&S across the company and all its activities.
  • Provide competent H&S advice and support to all levels of the company from the Senior Management Team to individual employees.
  • Champion safety on all levels.
  • Prepare and deliver training to employees, such as inductions, toolbox talks, and safety procedures.

Health and Safety Manager - Requirements

  • NEBOSH Construction qualification.
  • Proven track record in a similar role in the construction industry or quarries.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Full UK Driving licence.
  • Previous experience with change management.
  • Membership of a professional body - beneficial.
  • Environmental management qualification/experience - beneficial.
