We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health First Responder to join our pioneering and award-winning First Response Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing 24-hour access to mental health services for individuals of all ages experiencing a mental health crisis.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and develop crisis and safety plans to ensure appropriate support is identified for individuals in crisis.
- Work collaboratively with other mental health services, police, ambulance services, and local authorities to develop short-term contingency plans.
- Provide evidence-based clinical interventions, making autonomous clinical decisions about own professional practice.
- Develop, plan, and implement brief care and treatment interventions for individual patients within First Response.
- Mental Health Nurse Qualification or Social Work Qualification OR adult/LD nursing qualification with mental health experience.
- Current NMC/HCPC Registration.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
