We are seeking a highly skilled Safety and Health Manager to join our team at Kier Group.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) function within our Integrated Maintenance, Repair & Developer Services (IMRDS) framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the SHE team to achieve high performance and provide excellent support to operational teams.
  • Develop and maintain the safety management system in line with the needs of our partners' management systems.
  • Work closely with operational teams to support them in fulfilling their SHE responsibilities and provide timely advice.
  • Ensure accurate and timely SHE reporting and investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses effectively.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Membership of a relevant professional institution.
  • Experience of practical Health and Safety in the construction or utilities sectors.
  • Experience of incident investigation and reporting.
  • Full driving license.
