We are looking for a highly skilled Young Adult Diabetes Specialist to join our team at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a specialist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality dietetic services to patients aged 18-25.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in dietetics, with experience in working with young adults with diabetes. You will be responsible for developing and delivering tailored structured education courses, providing dietetic input in multidisciplinary teams, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver tailored structured education courses for young adults with diabetes
  • Provide dietetic input in multidisciplinary teams
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care
  • Contribute to the development and review of policies and procedures related to dietetics
Requirements
  • Masters-level qualification in dietetics or equivalent
  • Experience in working with young adults with diabetes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work flexibly within a dynamic team environment
Salary and Benefits
  • A competitive salary range £48,672 - £69,600 per annum (inclusive of £4,196 annual supplement)
