Dietetic Lead for Young Adult Diabetes Service

About the Role:
Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Clinical Dietitian to lead our young adult diabetes service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work flexibly and collaboratively within a close-knit team. Your passion for innovation in dietetics and experience working with young adults with diabetes are essential qualities we seek in our ideal candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and facilitate tailored structured education courses for young adults with diabetes.
- Provide dietetic input in MDT clinics and transitional clinics across Kings Mill Hospital and Newark Hospital.
- Work alongside a passionate and knowledgeable Diabetes specialist nurse, Psychologist, and diabetes consultant within the young adult MDT.
Person Specification:
- Qualified Dietitian (4-year degree, post-graduate diploma or equivalent).
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
