Academic Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Academic Manager to contribute to the student academic experience at Kaplan International Pathways. As an Academic Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality academic programmes that meet the needs of international students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of academic programmes that meet the needs of international students
  • Collaborate with academic teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning experiences
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment strategies that enhance student learning outcomes
  • Provide academic support and guidance to students, including advising on academic progression and career development
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure the effective management of academic resources and budgets

Requirements

  • Strong commitment to student-centred approaches to learning and teaching
  • Experience of leading a project or initiative that has led to enhancements in a curriculum area
  • Knowledge of the needs of international students and the ability to develop programmes that meet their needs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
  • Resource allocation and organisational skills, with the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
  • Ability to analyse data to make informed conclusions and contribute to the development of academic policies and procedures
