Academic Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Academic Manager to contribute to the student academic experience at Kaplan International Pathways. As an Academic Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality academic programs and services to our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of academic programs and services that meet the needs of international students.
  • Collaborate with academic teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with academic partners and stakeholders to ensure the success of our programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of academic programs and services, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to academic staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality programs and services.

Requirements

  • Strong commitment to student-centred approaches to learning and teaching.
  • Experience of leading a project or initiative that has led to enhancements in a curriculum area.
  • Knowledge of the needs of international students.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Resource allocation and organisational skills.
  • Ability to analyse data to make informed conclusions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across a range of teams.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent and preferably a UK Master's degree or higher.
  • A teaching qualification ideally.
