Sentence Calculation and Prison Offender Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sentence Calculation and Prison Offender Manager to join our team at HMP Fosse Way, a brand new Category C resettlement prison in Leicester. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety of our communities by driving pre-release planning and working closely with external agencies to gather crucial information and share any risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Co-ordinators and oversee the Sentence Calculation establishment
  • Develop and implement effective pre-release planning strategies
  • Collaborate with external agencies to gather information and share risks
  • Ensure offender transitions run smoothly and safely

Requirements

  • Sound knowledge of sentence calculation and safeguarding procedures
  • Relevant experience and Advanced Calculation training
  • Confidence in managing demanding workloads and maintaining professional boundaries
