We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sentence Calculation and Prison Offender Manager to join our team at HMP Fosse Way, a brand new Category C resettlement prison in Leicester. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety of our communities by driving pre-release planning and working closely with external agencies to gather crucial information and share any risks.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take their career to the next level and shape prison management practices. Reporting directly to the Head of Offender Management Services, you will manage a team of Co-ordinators and oversee the Sentence Calculation establishment. You must have a sound understanding of safeguarding procedures and relevant experience in sentence calculations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Co-ordinators and oversee the Sentence Calculation establishment
  • Drive pre-release planning and work closely with external agencies to gather crucial information and share any risks
  • Ensure the safety of our communities by implementing effective sentence calculation and offender management practices
  • Shape prison management practices and contribute to innovation in the Justice sector
