Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at HM Courts & Tribunals Service. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our courts.
The role is temporary and initially expected to run until the end of March 2025, with the possibility of being extended past this date. You will work full-time, Monday to Friday, covering 37 hours per week.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting members of the public with a professional demeanor
- Liaising with judiciary, witnesses, jurors, and other court users in a respectful and courteous manner
- Performing basic administrative duties, such as data entry and preparing juror packs
- Providing support to all users of the courts, including those who may require assistance navigating the legal process
In order to succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent customer service skills, be able to remain calm in potentially difficult situations, and have a strong ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
You will be required to undergo comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this position. Once fully trained, you will work in the Derby Courts.
Estimated salary for this role is £44 per hour, which includes holiday pay and pension scheme benefits.
