Senior Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HLTA to provide support across various schools in Leeds. As a Senior Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for leading classes in the absence of the teacher, delivering pre-planned lessons to ensure continuity in learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead classes in the absence of the teacher, delivering pre-planned lessons to ensure continuity in learning.
  • Provide targeted support for students, including small group interventions and 1:1 assistance.
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning, marking, and classroom management.
  • Support the development of students' academic progress, particularly in literacy and numeracy.

Requirements:

  • Previous HLTA experience, strong classroom management skills, and a passion for enhancing student learning.
  • Ability to work flexibly, providing support across various schools in Leeds.
