Business Development Manager

At IPS LLP, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. This is a key role that will play a crucial part in driving revenue growth and expanding our market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a business development strategy that prioritizes growth and positive customer experiences.
- Manage an existing client base, seeking new co-pack and co-manufacturing opportunities and agreeing where the best solution is for the appropriate site to deliver exceptional service.
- Evaluate new business proposals and determine the potential financial revenue and contribution.
- Work across various IPS/Culina teams to share knowledge, experience, and best practice in securing new leads or business.
- Manage contract negotiations and price increases, working with the central legal team when required to ensure compliance and fair working agreements.
- Research and identify new opportunities that complement the strengths of the group.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of the food industry is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated understanding of co-packing/production management and the associated labour costing.
- An understanding of packaging development and design.
- Ability to communicate in a positive and clear manner.
- Fosters an open and collaborative culture.
- Listen to and encourage new ideas from others.
- Knowledge of company procedures and actively demonstrates compliance.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work to strict deadlines.
- Able to work towards targets.
- Recognizes and promotes the importance of continuous improvement.

- Develops best practice and drives continuous improvement in all aspects of performance, in order to achieve service objectives.
