Job Purpose:

The primary responsibility of this role is to maximise business development within the Devon area, aligning with set targets and contributing to the overall growth of the company.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to drive sales growth in the region, working closely with the Commercial Director to identify new business opportunities and build key relationships with suppliers and hauliers.
  • Manage and develop effective relationships with internal coordinators, providing training and guidance on selling techniques and materials.
  • Present monthly area updates and plans, outlining joint objectives and goals for the team.
  • Liaise with colleagues to promote additional revenue opportunities and maintain awareness of competitor activity within the area.
  • Ensure accuracy of reports and paperwork, submitting them to required deadlines.

Knowledge, Training, Qualifications, and Experience Required:

  • Previous sales experience is essential, with a clean driving licence and knowledge of the Construction Industry desirable.

  • A competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
