We are seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Advisor to work on our Civils Projects in London and the South East of England.

About the Role

The HSW Advisor will provide functional health, safety and wellbeing advice, guidance and coaching to operational teams, supporting contract/project teams in establishing and maintaining the highest levels of health, safety and wellbeing.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Advise and guide personnel on implementing the Milestone Infrastructure Management System (MIMS)
  • Ensure contract/project compliance with MIMS and statutory provisions
  • Provide competency requirements guidance in line with MIMS needs
  • Assist in producing, implementing and reviewing HSW plans, such as construction phase plans and depot HSW plans
  • Review risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) with contract/project teams
  • Ensure incidents are reported and investigated in accordance with the incident investigation procedure on MIMS
  • Escalate significant incidents to the HSW manager and contract/project lead promptly

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in health and safety
  • Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Technician, or Graduate membership of IOSH
  • Working towards chartered membership of IOSH, NEBOSH Diploma, or equivalent
What We Offer

Competitive salary range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum depending on experience. 28 days' annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, Life Assurance, Private health care, Company car / car allowance and fuel card.
