About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health Visitor to join our team, working with children and families in Surrey. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an evidence-based service, assessing health needs, and developing interventions to improve outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and innovative professional to contribute to our 0-19 public health team. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure equity of service provision, promoting good practice and sharing resources.

The role requires a strong understanding of current issues affecting the NHS and the children and families public health agenda. You will have experience of initiating and participating in clinical audit and research, as well as teaching and facilitation skills.

As a Health Visitor, you will be responsible for identifying and supporting children and families who have unmet health needs, providing targeted interventions, and referring to specialist services when necessary.

You will also participate in safeguarding responsibilities, mentorship of students, line management of a skill-mixed team, and staff appraisals.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid full UK driving licence, have access to a car for business use, and possess a positive attitude with strong personal integrity.

The salary for this role is £39,205 to £47,084 per annum, inclusive of a 5% High Cost Area allowance.
