Educational Progress Manager

We are seeking a talented and motivated Special Educational Needs Coordinator to join our team at RecruitedUK.
This role involves championing the progress and achievement of students with SEND, overseeing learner support, and ensuring that the special educational needs of young people in custody are identified and assessed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective learner support strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and assessments of student progress.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to implement effective learning strategies.
Requirements:
- DfES qualified teacher status and a degree-level qualification.
- Possession of or working towards the NASENCo or equivalent qualification (or willingness to work towards).
- Proven successful teaching experience.
- Experience of supporting young people in an education setting to overcome barriers to learning.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: £49,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on skills and experience).
- Annual leave entitlement: 25 days plus bank holidays, increasing to 28 days after 3 years' service.
- 2 days paid volunteering leave each year.
- Enhanced pension scheme after 6 months.
