If you are a highly motivated and experienced educator looking for a new challenge, we invite you to apply for the position of Head of Community Learning Initiative at The Progress Group. As a senior leader within our organization, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of alternative education and make a real difference in the lives of our students.

Key responsibilities will include overseeing the delivery of a broad and stimulating curriculum, managing the operational performance of the Community Learning Team, and working closely with Senior and Wider Leadership Teams to ensure student well-being and progress. You will also be responsible for providing rigorous progress reports to stakeholders and attending inspections for schools with Community students on-roll.

We are seeking a candidate with excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate and inspire staff and students alike. A teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS), degree or equivalent, and experience working with disadvantaged youth are essential requirements for this role. Additionally, a proven track record of managing and supporting staff with behavior management and ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies is highly desirable.
