Job Title: Progress Educator

Location: London Area

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum

Contract: Long-Term Supply / Temp to Perm

Hours: Full-Time, 38.5 hours per week

Rikama Education is a special educational needs (SEN) school in the London area seeking a dedicated and passionate Progress Educator to join our team. As a Progress Educator, you will support students with a range of learning and social needs, delivering a differentiated curriculum tailored to their individual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver small group and one-to-one sessions to support students' academic success and personal growth.
  2. Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to develop and implement effective learning plans.
  3. Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to regular reviews of learning plans.
  4. Build strong relationships with students, their families, and colleagues to ensure a supportive learning environment.
  5. Stay up-to-date with best practices in SEN education and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children, particularly in an SEN or educational setting.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people with special educational needs.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to working with students with diverse needs.
