Electrical Supervisor Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at ATA Recruitment. As a leading recruitment agency in the manufacturing and engineering sectors, we specialize in finding top talent for our clients.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will oversee a small team of installation engineers, ensuring the smooth execution of electrical projects across various sites in the UK. This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of up to 6 installation engineers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • 50% hands-on involvement in electrical installations, with the remaining 50% dedicated to supervisory and office duties.
  • Oversee the dismantling and re-installation of equipment, ensuring all wiring is properly stripped and organized.
  • Monitor project progress, ordering necessary parts and materials as required.
  • Ensure adherence to RAMs (Risk Assessments and Method statements) and create new RAMs when necessary.
  • Prepare reports and quotations for smaller projects, valued up to £20,000.
  • Work in accordance with company processes and standards, in collaboration with management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical installations, with a 2391 Test and Inspection certification.
  • Desirable qualifications include SSSTS, JIB card, and black or gold safety card.
  • Strong track record of supervising small teams to meet project requirements.
  • Proactive, driven, and organized, with excellent communication skills.
  • Essential experience in the food, beverage, or pharma process industry.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook and Excel.
  • Flexible to travel around the North West region.
