Electrical Supervisor Job Description

ATA Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will oversee a small team of installation engineers across various sites in the UK, with a focus on FMCG and food process manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of up to 6 installation engineers, ensuring effective project management and timely completion of tasks.
  2. Travel to customer sites to oversee installation projects, with a 50/50 split between hands-on and supervisory/office duties.
  3. Ensure all wiring is stripped out effectively and organised for re-installation, adhering to company processes and standards.
  4. Develop and implement Risk Assessments and Method Statements, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  5. Prepare and submit quotations for smaller projects, with a value of up to £20,000.
  6. Collaborate with management to ensure seamless project execution and maintain high-quality standards.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in electrical installations, with a strong understanding of 2391 Test and Inspection.
  2. Hold a valid SSSTS, JIB card, or black/gold safety card.
  3. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  4. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Outlook and Excel.
  5. Familiarity with the food, beverage, and pharma process industries.
  6. Flexibility to travel around the North West region.
