Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all Engineering and Facility activities, balancing hands-on work with delegation. As a key member of our team, you will provide leadership, mentor the team, and collaborate with departments to ensure strong support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support the team of technicians on technical matters
  • Improve service delivery performance and reduce costs where possible
  • Manage all aspects of engineering from planning to completion
  • Develop practices, routines, and solutions to improve productivity and product quality
  • Perform risk assessments
  • Oversee the site T-card reporting system for maintenance and breakdowns, and delegate tasks accordingly
  • Develop new health and safety policy procedures in line with regulations
  • Conduct in-house training sessions on best practices and safe systems of work
  • Ensure food hygiene and safety standards are consistently upheld

Requirements:

  • Electrical and mechanical installation experience
  • Experience working in a FMCG environment
  • Good knowledge of food safety expectations
  • Experience in inspection and audit
  • Ability to deliver effective training
  • IT literacy, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
