Job Title: HR & Recruitment Coordinator

At Hannon Transport, we are seeking a highly organized and approachable HR & Recruitment Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the success of our company by managing aspects of the recruitment process and supporting our HR department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Group HR Manager in developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various positions within the company.
  • Screen CVs and conduct initial phone/Teams interviews to identify qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings for potential hires.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new employees, including paperwork, orientation, and training.
  • Participate in job fairs and other recruiting events to promote the company and attract top talent.
  • Assist with employee relations, including minute taking.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in recruitment and/or HR.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment and selection techniques and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software programs.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to deal sensitively and appropriately with confidential information.
  • Positive attitude and a team player mentality.
