Job Summary

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling Inc is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Craigavon, Northern Ireland. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the overall effectiveness and efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic HR guidance and support to local management teams to drive business outcomes and improve employee engagement.
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives to attract, retain, and develop top talent, including recruitment, talent management, and employee relations.
  • Manage and coordinate HR business processes, including HR systems, performance management, and employee communications.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on employment law, employee relations, and HR best practices.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with employees, management, and union representatives to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Conduct investigations, mediations, and disciplinary hearings as required.
  • Manage and analyze employee engagement surveys, staff forums, and other metrics to inform HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing employment laws and regulations, and provide guidance to management and employees on compliance.

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant field, such as HR, business, or law.
  • Chartered membership of CIPD or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years' experience in a multi-disciplinary HR environment, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
