Job Title: Health and Safety Manager - Aeronautical Engineering Specialist

Job Summary:

The Health and Safety Partnership is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team as a Senior Health and Safety Manager. This is a senior position that requires a strong background in health and safety management, with a focus on leading, modernizing, driving, integrating, and progressing standards, systems, and policy across a diverse, multi-faceted high-profile engineering facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out internal audits of the Health and Safety management system, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Be the point of contact with agencies and stakeholders during inspections and audits.
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to employees.
  • Investigate Health and Safety incidents and accidents and ensure any necessary action is taken.
  • Develop KPIs related to Health and Safety performance, to match the requirements of the business.
  • Have a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • NEBOSH Diploma level or equivalent preferred.
  • Additional knowledge and/or qualifications in associated Environmental and quality disciplines would be beneficial.

  • Strong background in health and safety management.
  • Experience in leading, modernizing, driving, integrating, and progressing standards, systems, and policy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
