About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Health and Safety Manager to join our team at The Health and Safety Partnership. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and implementing our health and safety management system, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain standards ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, utilizing integrated Management Systems.
  • Conduct internal audits of the Health and Safety management system, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with the COMAH regulations, with responsibility to compile and submit the report.
  • Ensure compliance with further regulations and engage with the required agencies.
  • Act as the point of contact with agencies and stakeholders during inspections and audits.
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to employees.
  • Investigate Health and Safety incidents and accidents, ensuring any necessary action is taken.
  • Develop KPIs related to Health and Safety performance, aligning with business requirements.
  • Attend meetings, conferences, and industry events.
  • Maintain a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Lead and motivate teams to achieve health and safety excellence.
Requirements
  • Hold or be working towards CMIOSH status.
  • Education to a degree level in a relevant subject.
  • NEBOSH Diploma level or equivalent preferred.
  • Recognized Auditing qualification in 45001 preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining ISO 45001 management systems.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of COMAH regulations and working environments.
  • Additional knowledge and/or qualifications in associated Environmental and quality disciplines beneficial.
