Bluestones Medical Complex Care Limited is a leading provider of innovative and progressive care for children with complex needs. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Bank Children's Support Workers to join our team in Runcorn area.
About the Role:
- As a Bank Children's Support Worker, you will provide emotional support and encouragement to children with complex needs
- You will facilitate activities and promote personal care, building positive relationships with children, families and professionals involved in their care
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns to relevant parties will also be an essential part of your role
- You will implement best practice throughout all areas of the care package and show a genuine desire to better the life of each young person
About Your Skills and Qualifications:
- You should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as being compassionate, patient and empathetic towards children with complex needs
- Able to work in a team and follow guidelines and procedures, strong organizational and time-management skills are also essential
- NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care would be advantageous, as well as 1 or more years of experience working with children with disabilities and/or challenging behaviour
- An understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures related to child protection and safeguarding is also required
