About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Centre Specialist to join our team at BladeRoom Data Centres. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert planned preventative maintenance (PPM), call-out services, and exceptional customer support for our clients based in the West London and M4 Corridor region.

The role involves working primarily around Farnborough, Heathrow, and Corsham, with occasional visits to other sites on a quarterly basis. While you'll be stationed in the primary area, the role does require flexibility, as you may rotate through different locations for cover.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out regular BMS PPM tasks on client sites to ensure systems are fully operational.
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractor resource to ensure the effective completion of tasks.
  • Identify and solve software and hardware issues efficiently.
  • Monitor control system issues through to resolution within agreed timeframes.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams, such as software engineers.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and clear feedback and reporting to clients.
  • Maintain detailed documentation on all technical issues, solutions, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Prioritise urgent matters and ensure follow-up with clients to verify resolution.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a BMS Engineer.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with a methodical approach.
  • Experience with Tridium AX & N4 is essential.
  • Knowledge of BMS facility management software is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.

About the Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
