Data Centre Mechanical Engineering Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Centre Mechanical Engineering Manager to join our team at Colt Data Centre Services. This role will be responsible for managing and leading a team of mechanical engineers, providing technical design support for mechanical and critical support systems across our Telco and Data Centre estate.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in mechanical design engineering, with a focus on critical infrastructure or data centre environments. Strong leadership skills and ability to coordinate and manage supplier performance are essential.

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of mechanical engineers
  • Provide technical design support for mechanical and critical support systems
  • Design and engineer mechanical and critical infrastructure systems
  • Develop expertise in industry best practices for mechanical system designs
