Job Title: Food and Beverage Supervisor - The Dining Room

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Seaham Hall. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing the dining room, and ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide attentive service to guests during meals
  • Manage the dining room, including cleaning and maintenance
  • Upsell desserts, starters, and drinks to increase revenue
  • Attend work consistently well-groomed and in uniform
  • Be willing to attend training and gain an understanding of the menu to offer guidance and recommendations to guests
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of hospitality experience, preferably in a restaurant or bar setting
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail to ensure a 5-star standard of service
  • Computer literate and a good knowledge of Microsoft systems and Simphony EPOS system
  • Ability to effectively interact with management, staff, and guests in a professional manner
  • Be a team player as well as an individual worker
  • Be well-presented and represent a high standard of competence at all times
  • Must have transport due to start of shift times and location of hotel
