About the Role

At Home Instead, we're seeking a compassionate and empathetic individual to join our team as a Care Companion. As a key member of our care team, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing, while promoting their dignity and independence.
  • Provide medication reminders and ensure clients take their prescribed medications as needed.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
  • Provide transportation for clients to appointments, errands, and social outings, promoting their freedom and choice.

Requirements

A driving license and access to a vehicle are advantageous, as you'll need to transport clients to appointments and outings.
