Ipswich, Suffolk, United Kingdom Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust Full time
About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our Special Care Dental Service in Suffolk as a Dentist.

This is a vital role that will support safe and compassionate care for our patients, working closely with our team of dental healthcare professionals, service leads, and specialists in special care and paediatric dentistry.

The successful candidate will provide dental care to special care patients, including care on a domiciliary basis, care under inhalation sedation, and participation in epidemiological fieldwork.

We are an IASCD accredited sedation training provider, and full training will be given for all aspects of this role; experience of special care is not essential.

The post will be based in Suffolk, and work may need to be undertaken at other establishments where Dental HealthCare operates in the surrounding area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a full range of dental care to patients of the Dental HealthCare Suffolk Special Care Dental Service, including priority and vulnerable groups meeting special care service criteria, and children and adults with moderate-severe anxiety.
  • Completion of fieldwork for dental epidemiological surveys.

What We Offer:

Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust is committed to providing innovative and high-quality care delivery. We offer a culture that prioritises staff engagement and development, and we welcome applications from all candidates who share our passion for delivering exceptional care.
